Work of the Project generally includes replacement of the existing Lift Station No. 8. More specifically, the Work includes, but is not limited to, construction of the following: Lift Station No. 8 Remove, transport and dispose accumulated sludge, grit, and solids from existing wet well of the lift station. Demolition including but not limited to pumps, piping, valves, and supports; electrical control panels, conduits, conductors, motor control centers, concrete pump bases, lift station top of slab concrete, reinforcement, and access openings, and all related appurtenances as included in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. Furnish all labor, equipment, material and supervision necessary for the installation of two submersible pumps with cooling jackets, all piping, valves, fittings, brackets, cathodic protection, and piping supports, including painting, and other miscellaneous accessories and appurtenances necessary for the operation of the lift station as included in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. Furnish, all labor, equipment, material, and supervision necessary for the installation of electrical and control components including but not limited to power system study, radar level instruments, electrical fused disconnect, junction boxes, conduits, conductors, duct banks, manual transfer switch, SCADA including but not limited to software, components, programming, monitoring and integration as included in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. Install cast-in-place top of slab for lift station structure as indicated on the Drawings and in accordance with the Specifications. Furnish and apply protective coating system (Spectra Shield) as included in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. Prepare subgrade and install reinforced concrete pavement as included in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. Furnish all labor, equipment, material, and supervision necessary for the installation of fencing, gates, backflow preventer, yard piping, bollards and site improvements as included in the Specifications and shown on the Drawings. Install proposed detention pond as indicated on the Drawings and in accordance with the Specifications. Furnish and install 24-inch RCP storm sewer in accordance with the Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. Furnish and install hydromulch seeding and sodding as included in the Specifications and as shown on the Drawings. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
