The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain bids from Class A licensed general contractors to provide rehabilitation of private properties in Loudoun County through the Loudoun County Home Accessibility and Repair Program (HARP) and other programs as needed. Work to be covered under this contract includes, but is not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), painting, floor covering, roof repairs and replacement, demolition, windows and door replacement, energy audits, lead paint and other environmental testing and clearance. The County will contact contractors on a rotating basis. The contracts may range from $5,000 to $25,000 depending on the extent of the renovations. Bonds required.
