This RFP is for the critical maintenance of 3 large scale public art sculptures: Wave, Pennant, & Wings. Conservation & maintenance to be performed by professional art conservators & firms. The selected conservator or firm will be asked to examine, clean, conserve, & provide preventative care treatments to the 3 sculptures as well as recommend ongoing & future maintenance recommendations (annual maintenance plans). Qualified individuals or firms must have at least 5 years of professional experience in art conservation & cleaning works of art. The individual or firm must have experience with following AIC (American Institute for Conservation) & professional standards for art conservation & maintenance. Prior experience working & coordination with a municipality of public agency is preferred. List of parties of interest attached. MBE goal 12%.
