We are requesting bids for the following trades and/or material suppliers:
This advertisement is in response to NJ Transit Corporation Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program. ACI-Herzog, A Joint Venture intends to conduct itself in “Good Faith” with DBE firms regarding participation on this project. ACI-Herzog, A Joint Venture will divide the work into smaller units to increase the opportunities for participation. Assistance is available in obtaining bonds, insurance, lines of credit, necessary equipment, supplies, materials, or related assistance or services. Please submit bids for the following work (but not limited to): Security, Vehicle and Station Cleaning, Pest Control, Trash Recycling, Janitorial, Landscaping, IT Support, Snow Removal, Parking Lot Maintenance, Elevator and Escalator Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Engineering.

The Hudson Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) is a light rail transit system under the jurisdiction of the New Jersey Transit Corporation encompassing 24 stations, running north-south on the Hudson River waterfront in Hudson County, for 20.6 miles. The Hudson Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) System has been operated since 1996 under a Design-Build-Operate Maintain (DBOM) style delivery contract. NJ Transit is seeking a new Contractor to provide operation and maintenance of the system.

DBE Eligibility and Certification: New Jersey Transit Corporation has specified a DBE/Race Conscious Goal participation goal of 15% for the Work to be performed under the Contract. Award of the Contract will be conditioned on meeting the requirements of this section. 49 CFR Part 26.53 and Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26 shall serve as the criteria for evaluating compliance with the good faith efforts requirements.
