The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to obtain the procurement and installation of technology upgrades in seven classrooms of the Advanced Technologies Building. This project includes new data cabling, interactive projectors, whiteboards, and an MDF rack for Rockingham Community College. Goods and Services will be provided in accordance to the terms and conditions of this IFB. a) Install projectors, whiteboards and data cabling in 7 classrooms of Advanced Technologies Building. 1 new MDF Wiring Rack will be required. Vendor will also remove old unused data cabling from ADT-102 and ADT-104. 1. Classrooms requiring technology upgrades: ADT-102, ADT-104, ADT-109, ADT-111, ADT-116, ADT-120 and ADT-213. 2. Installation of projectors, whiteboards and data cabling will follow manufacturer requirements and specifications. 3. RCC will verify and coordinate with the Contractor all final strobe, beacon, IDF, and panic button locations prior to installation. b) Provide electrical as follows: 1. See notes on electrical specifications, fireproofing detail, and wiring detail in the addendum of attached engineering drawings. c) Provide data cable installation as follows: 1. See notes on data specifications in the addendum of attached engineering drawings. d) Vendor must be CommScope certified. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
