The Work involves removing existing roofing system and insulation and providing new insulation (tapered where applicable) and two-ply polyester reinforced S.B.S. modified membrane system. Interply mopped & cap sheet torched to new insulation complete with related flashings, drains, expansion joints, control joints, cant strips, tapered insulation, and performing such incidental or other work as may be necessitated by these operations and called for by the specifications or field conditions (i.e., nailer replacement, fascia board replacement). Where not more specifically described in this IFQ, workmanship shall conform to all of the methods and operations of best standards and accepted practices of the trade or trades involved, and shall include all items of fabrication, construction or installation regularly furnished or required for completion of the services. CONTRACTOR shall make no deviations from this Scope of Work Outline except as, and only as, authorized in writing in advance by the City in the form of a Change Order signed and dated by all parties.
