The contract will result in the installation of a new exterior vehicle weight rated, locking steel hatch in an enlarged existing vault lid location in the parking pad behind the southeast corner of Keller Auditorium, 222 SW Clay Street, Portland, OR 97201, and make other modifications as noted to allow equipment hoisting in and out of the sub-basement mechanical room. Contractor shall cut concrete slabs, install support steel and install an operable steel hatch as noted in the attached sketches. Hatch shall be prepped to accept a Schlage Everest Interchangeable Core (IC) lock cylinder. Cylinder to be provided by Portland’5. Locking mechanism shall be integral to hatch and provided by contractor.
