Work required under the Contract includes furnishing materials, labor, equipment, etc. for site improvements within the City of Sandy Springs. GDOT Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2013 Edition, and applicable special provisions and supplemental specifications apply to this contract. The existing stormwater detention facility located in the rear yard of 5280 Cross Roads Manor is in need of maintenance. The facility is overgrown with vegetation and sediment accumulation. There is an existing storm drainage easement located between 5280 and 5290 Cross Roads Manor. This easement will be used to access the stormwater facility. In addition to removing the accumulated sediment and vegetation, approximately 33 linear feet of corrugated metal pipe will be replaced with a 30” reinforced concrete pipe. Associated storm infrastructure work includes the addition of a junction box, headwall and the replacement of a double wing catch basin top along Cross Roads Manor. Additional elements include replacing portions of damaged sidewalk and curb and gutter, coordination with various utility providers and installing and maintaining erosion and sediment control measures for the project area per approved plans number PW19-00009 R1. There is no City furnished equipment to be installed by the contractor. Bonds will be required for this project.
