The scope of work for this project will include the interior build-out of the 7,300 SF on the 3rd floor of 55 Park Place. The area to be renovated is an old, abandoned server/computer room with a raised floor. It also contains some typical administrative areas. The scope of work includes the complete demo and fit out of this area including all existing flooring, walls, ceilings and floor finishes. The new work includes the build out of typical administrative spaces including offices, conference rooms, breakroom, toilet and training room. All of the interior control work and mechanical will be in the selected GC’s scope of work. 2x4 LED lighting will be owner furnished/contractor installed. Construction of this phase could overlap with on-going work of other floors in the building. Coordination with the designer, construction manager and other trades and consultants already on-site and in the building shell will be required in such case. Close coordination will also be required for any work requiring access to the 2nd floor of 55 Park Place. The building must remain fully operational during the course of construction. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
