work is to be conducted so that one boiler will remain functional at all times. Disconnect and remove the existing (2) Weil McLain model 1964 steam boilers and provide field assembled in-kind replacement boilers in the existing boiler room. Additionally, the contractor must remove a +/- 4’ high concrete equipment pad and place a new +/- 5’-10” x +/- 9’-0” concrete equipment pads to match elevation of existing. Disconnect and remove (2) gas burners and associated piping, power and controls as required to replace the boilers. Disconnect and re-connect boiler water level controls and low water cutoff controls, boiler drain piping, supply, domestic cold-water supply, quick fill piping, boiler breeching, valves, catwalk, trace existing 20 amp electric circuit and replace belt at existing exhaust fan. Clean adjust lubricate existing exhaust fan. Disconnect and remove (2) +/-50’ lengths of engine exhaust fan duct-work, device wiring, time-clock, outdoor temperature sensor and cap existing duct-work as shown on the plans and specifications. This project encouraged MBE/WBE participation.
