The City of Sacramento solicits bids for shade canopy maintenance at 30 parks with 44 canopies in total. Work involves: Bi-Annual Maintenance: • Canopy maintenance first check must occur between the months of March/April & the second check must occur between the months of September/November. • Adjust tension on poles as canopies need to be tightened from being stretched out by the wind. • Inspect all cables to make sure they are securely hooked and tight on each pole. • Check each tension bracket & hooks to make sure there are no broken pieces that need replacement. • Provide Superintendent with all inspection reports and quote for recommended maintenance for approval. • Ability to respond to emergency requests within 3 days. • Provide pictures and a report per canopy via email after each maintenance service has been completed. Prevailing wages apply. The LBE Preference Program is applicable to all City procurement opportunities under $250,000 and provides a 5% preference to qualifying businesses. Bonds required.
