DASNY is soliciting bids from Single Prime Roofing Contractors for the following Scope of Work to be performed at the Broome Developmental Center, OPWDD Broome DDSO Building 3. This contract is for the removal and replacement of the existing roof including but not limited to the abatement of hazardous materials related to the removal of existing materials, concrete deck restoration and infill, removal and reinstallation of rooftop equipment and skylights, and providing a new multi-ply built up roofing system on rigid insulation, with any and all related flashings, trim and accessories complete as documented in the Construction Drawings and Project Manual. Primary roofing system may not be subcontracted. There is a Base Bid and three Alternates. It is anticipated that work will commence in Spring 2021 and be completed by November 19, 2021.
