Task #1 – Old Flare Site Demo (Blue Square) Demo Gravel, Curbing and Grass: • Existing gravel to be removed in blue area, reference figure 1. (Contractor Responsible for Takeoffs.)• Demo all objects in blue area, reference figure 3 for examples. (to be discussed at pre-bid meeting)• Demo curbing from blue area, reference figure 4 & 5 for example. (to be discussed at pre-bid meeting)• Sawcut asphalt at roadway gravel edge, after removal of curbing, to match existing gravel edge reference figure 4 for example. (Contractor Responsible for Takeoffs.) Task #2 – Old Flare Site Install New Gravel (Blue Square) Install New Gravel:• Compact subgrade in newly excavated area.• Install geo mesh provided by owner, in newly excavated area.• Reinstall #57 stone to bring up to grade so that the newly excavated area will match height of existing parking lot area. (Contractor Responsible for Takeoffs) Task #3 – Grade & Gravel Refresh (Green Square) Gravel Refresh: • Grade existing stabilized in green area reference figure 6 &7. (to be discussed at pre-bid meeting)• Add #57 stone until 3” above grade to refresh stabilized access for firetruck reference figure 6 &7. (Contractor Responsible for Takeoff).
