The purpose of this abatement project will be to professionally and safely remove and dispose of all asbestos-containing linoleum flooring/fiber backing located within the southwest data room (~50-75 sf) prior to demolition of the building. The scope of this abatement project is based upon review of a previous Pre-Demolition Asbestos Survey - Jack Carter Maintenance Building, 6500 Round Rock Trail, Plano, Texas 75023 (EHP Project #200055.22), dated February 25, 2021 (Appendix B). The asbestos abatement portion of the project will require no more than one (1) work shift to complete. The areas requiring specific asbestos abatement are described in Section 3.4 and Figures of the specification. The scope of this project will also include the complete structural demolition of the Jack Carter Maintenance Building and related foundation and paving. Demolition activities will be completed subsequent to abatement completion, and will be subject to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to pre-demolition documentation, field operations, erosion control, and related compliance items.
