The City is requesting proposals from qualified general contractors to act as a Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for new construction of the new Willow Bend Neighborhood Park and Natural Area project. The Willow Bend Park and Natural Area Project will include, but may not be limited to, construction of a new park and natural area facility with the following physical characteristics: • A new site access at 1st Street including site entry and egress for passenger and emergency vehicles. • Vehicle infrastructure including asphalt paved and gravel site access roads, parking areas, emergency vehicle turnarounds and bus parking/waiting areas. • Pedestrian infrastructure including concrete sidewalks, walkways, and plazas as well as soft surface walking trails. • Concrete multi-purpose “sport court” • Structures including shade structures and/or sails, picnic pavilions, and both flushing and vault restroom facilities • Multi-purpose sports turf field areas • Universally accessible playground facility including play equipment and associated amenities • Natural play area consisting of natural materials such as logs and boulders configured for use as balance, climbing and gathering features • 10’ concrete recreation trail segment • Environmental education amenities including outdoor seating, gathering, and classroom spaces • Site utilities including electric service, irrigation, water, and wastewater service.
