Trades: Elevator Contractor & Related Building Equipment
The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit submissions from qualified professional elevator consultants with experience in similar service, project size, and scope. The term of the resulting service agreement will be 5-years. Dallas County has a combination of 131 elevators and escalators in its vertical transportation portfolio across 23 different buildings. These elevators and escalators are critical to the operation of Dallas County buildings and move thousands of employees and public citizens every day. Professional elevator consulting services are needed to audit maintenance work including to provide guidance in managing Dallas County’s vertical transportation portfolio. This includes providing recommendations on modernization, value engineering analysis, providing reports of elevator performance, and assisting with solicitations for elevator and escalator projects. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
