There is approximately 12 electrical switchgears at the South Cross Bayou AWRF in need of replacement. Existing gear is between 30- and 40-years-old of service life in a highly corrosive environment, is corroding, and in need of replacement. Consists of the removal and replacement of four (4) 3200 ampere draw out generator circuit breakers and six (6) 2000 ampere draw out feeder circuit breakers in two (2) 277/480 volt, 3-phase, 4-wire switchgear lineups, each with a 6000-ampere main bus rating. The switchgear lineups and circuit breaker cells shall be reconditioned and modified, as required, for the new circuit breaker installations. Additionally, the work shall include the removal of six (6) free-standing, floormounted, generator/engine control cabinets and the control components contained within these cabinets. The installation work is located at the Pinellas County South Cross Bayou Advanced Water Reclamation Facilicty (SCBAWRF). The work shall be inclusive of all equipment, materials and work required for operational systems that are complete and fully tested. Questions due by September 28, 2023, 3:00pm. 5% Bid Bond required. Date established in the Notice to Proceed or Agreement. Contractor shall commence the Work within fifteen (15) consecutive calendar days, or Contractor shall commence the Job Order Contract on the date of the Notice to Proceed, or as mutually agreed by the Parties, from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
