The City of Newberry is inviting bids for the replacement of aging HVAC units within the City of Newberry and related equipment. Our initial need is to replace a 12.5-ton Trane air conditioning unit used for the gymnasium at our Easton Sports Complex. Bids will include installation, materials, labor, disposal of old units and system setup for operation. Although ground mounted, the HVAC replacement at Easton will require a crane to properly set the unit in place within a secured and fenced area. The new unit for Easton Sports Complex will replace a Trane unit, model number WCH150B. The replacement should meet, at a minimum, the efficiency of the existing Trane unit, although the bidder may submit any brand in their bid, but the unit must be of like quality and feature. As this project intends to replace aging HVAC units throughout the city, the term of this agreement will be for 3 years with no renewal. Question End Date 11/28/2023 2:00 PM EST Bonds required.
