The Contract work consists of the following repairs to the Kwa-Di Tabil Class ferry M.V. Salish: USCG credit drydocking, sea valve, propeller, rudder, bearing and void inspections. Stern tube renewal no.1 and No.2 ends, tail shaft bearings renewal No. 1 and No. 2 ends, shaft seal modification No.1 and No.2 ends. Inspect rudders and propellers no.1 and no.2 ends. Preservation to the following areas: hull, pickle forks, sun deck seating, no.1 end steering gear room and engine room bilges on both ends, sewage tanks, potable water tank, and fire suppression water tank. Electronic Room AC placement, and other maintenance work as specified. Funding will be state only. Work must be performed during the period of Feb 26 - May 17, 2024.
