WV STEM Classroom HVAC Upgrades

The Project scope is to re-roof the Main House, Garage, and Cottage and install stabilization measures for the Lower Barn at the Hawthorns Historic Complex. The scope of work includes removing existing roofing material, selective demolition, documentation of historic materials to ensure re-roofing material match, and re-roofing of the structures with new sheathing, shingle, membrane; stabilization scope includes sealing window sills, carpentry to stabilize joists and supports. The structures are potentially eligible for the National Register of Historic Places and California Register of Historic Resources; the new roof shall match the appearance of the original roof.

Arborist Consulting Services

The Kings Mountain Manzanita Ecosystem Resiliency Project is a vegetation management and ecological restoration project intended to improve the long-term health, persistence, and resilience of Kings Mountain manzanita habitat within the Santa Cruz Mountains. The project will focus on the selective removal of smaller competing trees and understory vegetation, particularly Douglas-fir, tanoak, and other encroaching woody species, to reduce shading, maintain open habitat structure, improve growing conditions for Kings Mountain manzanita, and enhance overall ecosystem resiliency. The estimated level of effort for the combined Base Bid and Additive Alternate work is approximately 1,915 vegetation treatment labor hours. Work will generally include hand cutting, limbing, and on-site treatment of vegetation while retaining dominant canopy trees, sensitive habitat features, and native forest structure. Project implementation will emphasize ecological restoration objectives, public safety, and minimal ground disturbance. The Project must be fully completed within 75 calendar days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed

Project Description: Lease-Leaseback construction services for the Townsend Field Improvements Project. This Project includes replacing the existing turf field with an enlarged natural grass field; replacing the existing concrete bleachers and press box with new metal bleachers and press box; replacing the existing DG track with a new synthetic all-weather track; replacing the existing stadium lighting with new energy-efficient stadium lighting at Townsend Field and Elmer Johnson Field; installing new lighting at the Buchser Middle School tennis courts; and demolishing two (2) existing concession buildings and constructing a new toilet building.

Project Overview: The Construction of a Classroom and Administration Building using a lease-leaseback structure. Required services include constructability review, value engineering, master scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and construction.

Complete the design for the Project based on the Bridging Documents, including related meetings with the District for input and approval at multiple stages of design development and preparation of detailed construction cost budgets. Program and Schematic Design Confirmation: Verify and detail the Districts established program and scope for the project by leading the district through a program validation effort. Prepare a clearly documented summary of required spaces, capacities, adjacencies, equipment, and performance expectations. This effort may require amending or altering the existing bridging documents to re-establish a final Schematic Design. Design Development: Prepare Design Development Documents from the Bridging Documents, including related architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and landscape services. Revise construction cost budget. Meet with the District. 50% Construction Documents: Upon the Districts acceptance of the Design Development Documents, prepare 50% construction documents. Revise construction cost budget. Meet with the District. 100% Construction Documents: Upon the Districts acceptance of 50% Construction Documents, prepare 100% construction documents. Revise construction cost budget. Meet with the District. Perform backcheck as needed at no additional cost to the District. Obtain DSA stampout and approval letter.
