The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County is soliciting sealed bids for the following project: Request for Bids #24CN-259 Chesapeake Complex Wastewater Holding Tank. Work to be performed comprises the following: 1. Install temporary bypass system including mechanical plug, temporary pumps, temporary 20,000 gallon frac tanks, and all associated appurtenances and piping. 2. Demolish the following: a. existing 60’-6” diameter metal clarifier and all associated equipment and appurtenances, including concrete foundation. b. existing pumps and associated equipment in treatment building, c. existing 6” piping for haul out and all associated equipment. 3. Furnish and install one (1) new 136,800-gallon precast concrete storage tank and all associated appurtenances and piping as shown on the Contract Drawings. 4. Furnish and install new electrical power, instrumentation and control wiring for the new storage tank as shown on the Contract Drawings. 5. Restore surfaces in accordance with the Contract Documents. MBE goal 20%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
