The objective of this Invitation for Bid is for the University of Maryland, Baltimore (herein referred to as the “University” or “UMB”) to select a qualified Contractor to furnish labor, materials, equipment, supplies, safety control devices, supervision, subcontracting and other necessary resources as required to provide Waste Removal Services at UMB. Services shall include, but are not limited to, the transportation and disposal of trash, compost, recycling and bulk trash in both University owned and Vendor supplied containers. Services to most UMB locations are provided on an “as needed/on-call” and/ or “scheduled haul” basis. A list of current containers, locations, University owned / Vendor supplied containers and haul schedule (“as needed/on call” or “scheduled haul”) is included as Appendix D.
