Charles County Government intends to soon request proposals from qualified Design-Build teams for the Mattawoman Wastewater Treatment Plant (MWWTP) Effluent Filters Upgrade project. Prospective Offerors are hereby advised to prepare for the pending release of the formal Request for Proposals (RFP). The Effluent Filters Upgrade Project is a Design-Build project. The Project's core objective is to design and construct four cloth media filters, a chlorination system, and demo the existing sand filters. The Design-Build Team will be required to provide complete turn-key services for the Project, including design, permitting, furnish and install materials and equipment, testing and startup, and contract close-out to provide a complete and fully functioning system.
