The work to be performed consists, in general, of grading existing shoulder, furnishing temporary pavement, full-depth reclamation (FDR) with cement and new asphalt concrete (AC) for the Avenal Cutoff Road in Kings County near State Route (SR) 198. In addition, the project will include asphalt concrete overlays at intersections and at a portion of Avenal Cutoff Road. Please see plans for more details. The Department intends to begin construction after completion of the Stratford at SR 41 Bridge project by Caltrans which is anticipated to be completed by the middle of August 2024. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
