Bastrop County is requesting a quote for land clearing, tree removal, stump grinding and fence construction services that may be utilized any place within Bastrop County. Bastrop County Road and Bridge Precincts occasionally have a need for a third-party contractor to cut and fell dead, dying, infected or nuisance trees along Bastrop County roadways. The selected contractor shall cut all marked trees to within Three (3) inches of the ground. Contractor(s) may be asked to grind stumps below the surface of the ground. There will be a separate bid price for the stump grinding process. The contractor is responsible for the proper disposal of all cut trees, limbs and any vegetative debris resulting from the cutting and felling of any and all selected trees. The disposal method of all cut trees, limbs and any vegetative debris is left up to the contractor and Bastrop County is not responsible for any additional cost for the disposal of the debris. The contractor will be responsible for all traffic control in the project area. No County roadway may be closed without written permission of the Precinct Commissioner. Any damage to private property that borders the project area where trees are being cut and fell, will be repaired and/or replaced by the contractor at no expense to Bastrop County. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
