The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) solicits bids to establish a purchase order for he procurement and installation of a generator and automatic transfer switch. Add equipment to emergency power - inmate housing, T.L. Roach Unit. 1.) Supply and install a new 150 Kw, 480/277 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, Diesel Generator with controller, with a Sound Attenuated (NEMA-3) Enclosure with 24-Hour Fuel Tank, on existing concrete pad next to Bldg. J5. 2.) Where applicable, concrete pad shall be extended if needed depending on size of new Emergency Generator. 3.) Remove existing Manual Transfer Switch located in Bldg. J5 attic. 4.) Supply and install a new 260 Amp 480v/277v ATS as shown sheet E1. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
