Existing HVAC is to be removed throughout the facility and replaced with new central air handler units and fan powered terminal units. The existing air cooled chiller , pumps, hydronic accessories , and units are to be replaced. Two new VAV AHU's and accessories, ductwork, terminal units, diffusers and accessories are to be installed throughout the existing facility. The Conroe Municipal Center is to remain in operation during construction and will require a phased construction schedule. Contractor will be responsible to coordinate with owner to plan areas of construction and relocation of employees to work in those areas. Some portions of the building will need to remian in operation and will require the work to be completed after hours or on the weekends. Existing ceilings and ceiling mounted devices are to be temporarily removed/suspended as required for the mechanical scope of work. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
