The County of Albemarle is soliciting quotations from qualified vendors to complete two geothermal test wells and one thermal conductivity test at Albemarle High School. Albemarle County Public Schools is in the process of designing a new school facility, which is planned to utilize geothermal wells for its mechanical systems. To properly design this system, ACPS must gather the necessary information on the thermal conductivity in the desired well field. It is intended to reuse these test wells in the final system installed. Bonds required.
