Sealed Proposals will be received for furnishing On-Demand Construction for Albemarle County Local Government & Albemarle County Public Schools. The County is seeking proposals to establish contracts through competitive negotiations with General Contractors (Contractor) in the performance of on-call construction and related services utilizing trade-specific subcontractors. County makes no guarantee of the amount of work to be performed under the resulting contract(s). Services will be requested by County on an as-needed basis. Services shall include, but not be limited to: new construction, renovation and/or improvements, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical work, miscellaneous carpentry, drywall services, window replacement, fence projects, roofing projects, specialty floor and wall systems maintenance and repair, door and door systems, masonry and concrete work, interior and exterior building alterations or renovations, demolition, excavation, specialty work, emergency repair/replacement, and other related work. Projects shall be performed for Albemarle County local government and/or school facilities including but not limited to: Office Buildings, Parks & Recreation facilities, Judicial Facilities, Libraries, Police Stations, Fire/Rescue Stations, Public Works facilities, and School buildings. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
