The Town of Altavista will receive Proposals from qualified firms to contract for a 10-year long-term, full-service maintenance and asset management program for the Town's four potable water storage tanks (ranging from 300,000 gallons to 1,500,000 gallons in size). It is the express intent of the Town of Altavista to procure a fully qualified firm to implement an Asset Management Program which includes: engineering, management, GASB 34 compliance as alternate method of asset management, inspection, rehabilitation, repair, bio-film washouts, visual inspections and repainting of four (4) water tanks in the system. The selected firm shall have the ability to provide water quality services to include bio-film removal, active mixing and other smart water solutions.
