Edinger Ave (Countess to Saybrook): The project consists primarily of cold milling of the existing pavement, Cold In-placed Recycling of existing asphalt concrete, rubberized asphalt concrete (RAC) surface course paving, limited removal and installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, installing truncated domes, tree replacements, adjusting valves to grade, installing striping and signage. Talbert Ave (Edwards to West City Limits): The project consists primarily of cold milling of the existing pavement, Full Depth Reclamation of existing asphalt concrete, asphalt base paving, type II slurry, rubberized asphalt concrete (RAC) surface course paving, limited removal and installation of concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, curb access ramps, cross gutters, tree replacements, installing composite manholes, and valves to grade, and installing traffic loops with striping and signage. Indianapolis Alley will be bid as an alternative and 20 additional working days will be added to the contract if the City includes the alley in the award of the project. Indianapolis Alley will be constructed by Friday, August 15, 2024. The project consists primarily of the removal of and replacement of the existing asphalt concrete pavement, concrete alley gutter, and concrete alley approaches, with ancillary work as necessary.
