The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the repair and construction of the Richmond Water Treatment Plant Access Bridge – Douglasdale Road project to provide general contracting services necessary or proper for the performance and completion of repair work. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Maintaining traffic on the bridge during repair. The bridge is single lane. Periods of full closure for vehicular access will be permitted with coordination with the Plant Operation. 2. Mill, Hydodemolish and cast Latex Modified Concrete Deck overlay and groove the deck. 3. Perform concrete repairs on the substructure and superstructure. 4. Reconstruct bridge joints. 5. Recoat the structural steel. 6. Provide temporary pedestrian accommodations to maintain pedestrian access at all times. 7. Furnish and install erosion and sedimentation controls during construction. 8. The Water Treatment Plant must remain accessible throughout construction. Bonds required.
