The general scope of work is to install CCTV cameras around the City of Richmond using a variety of mounting methods. In many cases, the Vendor will be asked to design the CCTV architecture at the project site. In other cases, detailed designs may be provided to guide in the installation process. Some projects may require sourcing of parts through the Vendor, while other projects may be supplied from City resources on-hand. Requirements per site will vary, but may include the following: A. Trenching for conduit placement B. CAT6 cable routing C. Installation of new poles & hardware cabinets D. Routing power from local sources E. Traffic lane closures F. Interfacing with traffic signal cabinets G. Use of heavy machinery such as bucket trucks and scissor lifts.
