This Contract provides for the restoration of approximately 0.7 miles of the Satsop River in Grays Harbor County, Washington. The aquatic species restoration project will stabilize eroding riverbanks, add stable large wood to the river system, and improve floodplain connectivity. The Work includes temporary erosion and sediment controls; development, maintenance, and decommissioning of staging areas, temporary access roads, and two temporary bridges; construction of engineered log jams; pile installation; wattle and erosion control fabric installation; excavation for engineered log jam placement; backfill, grading, and property restoration; channel excavation including haul; bank excavation including haul; site isolation and de-watering; and other work.
