The landscaping and maintenance services are intended to provide various services to the City departments, which include Facilities, Transportation, Water, Sports & Tourism, and Parks & Recreation. The City encompasses approximately 15,941,228 square footages (sq.ft.) of area, which makes up a vast combination of desert landscaping, well-manicured turf, grass, hardscape, streets & medians, and facilities buildings. The combined vegetation includes approximately 4,377 trees, 556 palm trees, 22,288 plants and 971,744 sq.ft. of turf. The City anticipates awarding multiple vendors to adequately provide services for the specific areas. The approximate size of each area is referenced in the price workbook next to each location. Additional sites may be added or removed during the term of the resultant contract based upon anticipated future growth and expansion as new facilities are constructed. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
