The work includes: BART’s OCC is past its useful life and needs renewal and upgrades to facilitate two of BART’s key projects: Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) and BART Silicon Valley Phase II (BSVII). The Modernization of the OCC project will provide upgrades that include CBTC specific infrastructure for Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) training, testing, and to provide new workstation consoles for the rail operators. 3 large LED display screens will provide the necessary improvements to monitor the BART system. A complete remodel of the OCC space. SBE goal is 20%, MBE goal is 18.2% and WBE goal is 9.3%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
