Description: Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, vehicles, and materials necessary to provide routine trash refuse removal services throughout Millerton Lake State Recreation Area including the North Shore located in Madera County and the South Shore located in Fresno County.

The objectives of this design commission include 1) Understanding the facility Needs of the Police Department; 2) Conduct thorough examination/analysis of the acquired buildings for remodel and retrofit; 3) Address site constraints and design and recommend site alterations for access and security; 4) Complete design package for remodel of buildings, with bid package and documents; and 5) Assist the City with contractor selection and construction management. The proposed Scope of Work (SOW) shall be based on an examination and understanding of the existing two-story structure and separate warehouse facilities at the proposed Kerman Public Safety Center located at 15061 West C Street (refer to Attachment A). Project tasks shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following. If the Proposer feels that additional tasks are warranted, they must be clearly identified in the Proposers submission

The scope of work includes but is not limited to; Installation of retroreflective backplates, advance stop bars, and leading pedestrian intervals at the intersection of Cedar and Shields. Dewatering of Check Structure 17 gate bays, Removal of all four existing radial gates and appurtenances at Check Structure 17. Dispose of radial gates No.1, 3, and 4, Radial gate No. 2 shall be transported to the Coalinga O&M Yard and stored on Contractor fabricated steel gate cradle frame, Fences and Gates: a. Reinstall barbed wire fence and swing gates.

Coordination with the City of Fresno, the Fresno Irrigation District, County of Fresno, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and PG&E will be required

Street improvements on Shaw Avenue from DeWolf Avenue to Leonard Avenue include roadway widening and utility infrastructure improvements. Roadway widening improvements include, but are not limited to, demolition and removal of existing improvements; installation of asphalt pavement; concrete improvements including curb and gutter, medians, and related concrete features; street lighting; installation of an underpass structure and associated foundations; traffic striping, pavement markings, and signage; traffic signal installation and modifications; installation of traffic detection loops; and other miscellaneous improvements.
