The City of Bakersfield (City) desires to enter into an agreement with one or more qualified contractors to provide industrial cleaning services on an “on-call” basis for the Wastewater Division. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: cleaning out vessels, tanks in confined spaces such as dissolved air flotation thickener (DAFT) units, aeration basins, septage pits; flushing out grease tank and grease receiving equipment; changing out granular media in Sulfatreat vessels; and jetting centrate and sewer pipelines within the Wastewater Division. Bonds required.
