The City of Ukiah is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms to determine the feasibility of developing potable groundwater sources for its Water Disbribtuion System in Mendocino County, California. The City obtains water supplies from both groundwater sources and the Russian River. Water from the Russian River is obtained through a Ranney collector as well. In order to improve system realiability and water supply resilience, the City would like to add another groundwater facility to its water supply porfolio. The City currently operates four groundwater facilities with capacities ranging from 11000 to 700 gallons per minute. The proposed apprach to this important project includes several phases and multiple tasks to be undertaken. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
