Notice is hereby given that the City of Los Banos is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional engineering services for the Water Master Plan Update. The update shall insure the City has adequate water facilities to support future growth as defined in the recently adopted City General Plan. At the conclusion of the Water Master Plan Update, a prioritized short- and long-term Capital Improvement Program (CIP) plan with detailed descriptions and cost estimates shall be prepared based on the findings. An analysis of the current funding mechanisms will also be a part of this Water Master Plan Update, as well as a review of available funding from the state and other agencies for maintenance, and capital improvements of water infrastructure. This should include a series of short- and long-term funding strategies for City to pursue.
