The Diamond Regional Sewer Lift Station and Dual Force Mains Project will receive raw wastewater and pump it through two new parallel 18-inch and 26-inch HDPE force mains and discharge into an existing junction structure on an existing 54-inch gravity sewer pipeline along Lakeshore Drive. The lift station will pump an average daily flow of 3.0 MGD dry weather flow and will have the ability for future phased expansions for up to 6.6 MGD of average flow. The sewer lift station work also includes the demolition of the Interim Summerly Lift Station and the Back Basin Groundwater Filtration Plant Lift Station and downsizing of the B-1 Lift Station. The dual force mains work includes approximately 3,400 linear feet of 18-inch and 26-inch HDPE fused pipe, 102 linear feet of jack and bore in Lakeshore Drive and 686 linear feet of microtunneling a 66-inch diameter casing across the San Jacinto River.
