Mowing and Edging: Mowing height will be based on what is horticulturally correct for the turf variety. Edges shall be trimmed to maintain a neat appearance. All lawn cuttings shall be picked up and disposed of properly. Landscape Maintenance: Shrubs and hedges shall be pruned and trimmed to maintain a neat appearance to encourage healthy growth habits. Weed abatement shall be performed, as described in section D. All waste from maintenance activities and incidental litter or debris shall be picked up and disposed of offsite. Groundcover Plant Maintenance: Groundcover plant edges shall be trimmed to maintain a neat appearance. Weed abatement shall be performed, as described in section D. All waste from maintenance activities and incidental litter or debris shall be picked up and disposed of offsite. Weed Abatement Weed eradication methods shall be by hand removal, mower, string trimmer, shovel, hoe, or hula hoe. The application of chemicals is prohibited, unless CDA authorizes the use of a specific chemical for each instance of application for a specific site. All waste from weeding activities and incidental litter or debris shall be picked up and disposed of offsite. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
