Padre Dam Municipal Water District (District) is requesting proposals from qualified firms/teams to provide engineering design services for the Inverted Sewer Siphon Improvements project. The design and construction phase for the project is part of the District’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for Fiscal Years 2023-2027. The anticipated budget for the design and construction phase is approximately $3.5M. The selected firm should be prepared to begin work immediately upon issuance of Notice to Proceed. Weston Solutions, Inc. (Weston) recently completed a Basis of Design Report (BODR) associated with the Trans-River Inverted Sewer Siphons System and presented preferred alternatives for the improvement methods considered for construction. Weston’s BODR is provided as an attachment to this Request for Proposal (RFP) and the information contained within will serve as a useful resource for interested consultant firms in the development of their proposals for providing engineering design services for this project.
