The Metropolitan Transportation Commision (MTC) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional engineering services for the development of the I-80 Localized Transit Priority Strategies project. The I-80 Localized Transit Priority Strategies project focuses on near-term strategies to reduce peak-period bus delays, improve bus travel time reliability, improve viability of bus use, and enhance the transit user experience. Phase 1 includes Preliminary Analysis/Project Initiation Document (PID), pending data collection and review, preliminary traffic analysis, design refinement, and identification of a build alternative. Phase 2, Project Approval/Environmental Document, will environmentally clear the proposed improvements determined in the PID.
