Description

The Office of the City Administrator, Real Estate Division, is seeking licensed C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Contractors to perform building maintenance and repair work. [Preferred for contractor’s to also have C‐4 and C‐38.] The work shall be performed on an “if-and-as-needed” basis. All maintenance and repair services work shall conform to the City’s subcontracting, insurance, bonds, indemnity and prevailing wage requirements for public work. C-20 Warm Air Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning Requirements The C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning Contractors pool will be utilized to perform maintenance and repair of mechanical and control systems in City owned buildings. These contractors will be working with energy efficient equipment and control systems, and may provide proprietary equipment and controls to integrate with existing building equipment. Contractors are required to have manufacturer’s training and green building expertise to work with any existing building proprietary equipment and provide energy efficiency programming for the building management control systems. The projects include a significant amount of specialized, energy efficiency HVAC work, as well as, specially manufactured, proprietary equipment.
