The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, labor, supplies, and manufactured articles for the Project. It shall also include the furnishing of all transportation and service, including fuel, power, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The general items of Work include the following: removal of an existing corroded, prefabricated metal awning cover; removal of corroded structural members associated with the awning at two locations; design, procurement and installation of two (2) new prefabricated awning structures; improvements to existing awning structures; removal and disposal of waste; excavation and backfill associated with the two new awning location support posts; support post cast-in-place concrete footings; associated lighting under the new awning to match existing; protection of the existing lighting and electrical conduits under existing awnings; removal of existing awning coating product; installation of protective coating on existing and new awnings; and protection of existing facilities as shown on the Contract Documents. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
