This project involves a standard overlay consisting of milling 1½”, a HMA surface course of 1½”, and a HMA binder course of 1¼” on IL 48 from 0.9 miles SW of Old IL 48, SW of Taylorville, to 0.4 miles SW of the South Fork of the Sangamon River. This project includes deck patching and a microsilica overlay on SN 011-0032 that carries IL 48 over the South Fork of the Sangamon River in Christian County. In addition, this project will include aggregate wedge shoulders, pavement marking, traffic control, and all other necessary and collateral work to complete the contract. DBE goal 9%. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
