The Illinois Department of Transportation is declaring an Emergency for the purchase of Monroe brand snowplow replacement and repair parts.
The Village of Glen Ellyns 2026 Capital Improvement Plan includes interior renovations for the Civic Centers second-floor reception area and third-floor Village Board meeting room. Upgrades in the second-floor reception are needed to enhance securitymatching the firstfloor Finance area standardand to provide an ADA-accessible counter. It is imperative that a transparent and welcoming atmosphere is maintained, and that all new materials match in appearance the existing materials and finishes. Any new glazing shall be bullet-proof or bulletresistant at a minimum. A new full-sized door is needed to replace the existing half-door. New door should serve as a security door and retain the existing electric door strike and access control assembly and equipment. A new soffit approximately 12-18 inches above the new door spanning wall-to-wall across the front counter would be needed. The Village would like to avoid the need for a new floor to ceiling wall in this location.
The intent of this Invitation for Bid is to solicit firm prices for Utility Construction Materials. The Village of Schaumburg (hereafter Village) Department of Engineering & Public Works will utilize the materials for repairs and maintenance of Village owned utilities.

Remove existing awning hardware and infrastructure as needed to ensure structural soundness and appearance of the new awning. Sandburg intends to remove the easily detachable cloth awning materials prior to this scope of work.
