The City is seeking proposals for generator maintenance, inspection and repair services for its five (5) emergency generators located at the following City-owned facilities: i. Activity Center at Bohrer Park, 506 South Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg 20877 ii. City Hall, 31 South Summit Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 iii. 14 Fulks Corner Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 iv. Department of Public Works, 800 Rabbitt Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878 v. Public Safety Building, 16 South Summit Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Scope: A. Inspect and test all generators; B. Prepare and post all preventative maintenance equipment log sheets; C. Prepare and deliver any work estimates for any needed repairs, alterations or services for generators to the City’s Program Administrator with fourteen (14) days of the most recent inspections; D. Preparation and posting of all quarterly and annual service reports and repair confirmations for any repairs which are completed on each back-up generator to the Compliance Engine website on behalf of the City; E. Provide, deliver and assemble rental equipment upon City’s request; F. Training of City staff on safety precautions and operation of generator equipment; G. Performing annual Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) inspections and H. Performing annual load tests. Bonds required.
