Perform construction upgrades at the Pumpkin Hill WWPS, located at 11500 South Laurel Drive, Laurel, in Prince George's County, MD, to include the following: i. Pump Replacement: Replacement of two (2) dry-pit submersible sewage pumps and associated piping. ii. Electrical Improvement: An upgraded electrical distribution system; Replacement of existing MCCs with new distribution panel consisting of freestanding or wall-mounted motor starters-; Lighting system upgrade. iii. Plumbing and HVAC improvements: Renewal of Plumbing fixtures; Domestic Water piping replacement; Hot-water supply installation; Ventilation and Heating rehabilitation, etc. iv. Other Mechanical: Flowmeter, Pressure Gauges, Valves, and Transmitters replacement; Replacement of Float Switches, Low-level and high-level Alarms; Hazmat remediation; Replacement of two Sump Pumps and associated valves and piping. v. Instrumentation & Process Control System: Improvement to Control Panel, Wet well level measurement system, Gas detection system; Overall station Alarm list of improvement, etc. vi. Structural Rehabilitation: Replacement of Pump Bases and other minor structural repairs; Lifting Hoist replacement; Hatches and safety ingress/egress access upgrades; Replacement/installation of new OSHA-compliant lower-level Stairway; Architectural building modification of space to meet life cycle and safety codes; Wet-well inspection and repair. vii. Temporary Bypass Pumping: Temporary Bypass pumping system will be required during construction for the renovations. Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
